Like any Christian church, the Benalla Regional Parish is made up of local people. We are the church. Membership in the church is open to Christians who profess faith in Jesus Christ alone and who live a consistent Christian life.
As Presbyterians, we believe that the church is best governed when many people share in its oversight. Our minister and elders form the Session and together oversee the spiritual life of the church.
Stephen McDonald
Dip. Broadcasting (Radio), Grad. Dip. VET, B.Min., B.Th.
Stephen is a graduate of the Presbyterian Theological College in Melbourne and was appointed for 12 months of ministry at Benalla beginning on 1st February 2016. Following a call to the Benalla Parish, he was ordained to the ministry on 31st December 2016.
Before training for the ministry, Stephen was the Station Manager of 98.5 The Light in Albury-Wodonga.
Stephen is married to Sarah, and they have two young daughters and a son.
